Isaac TAMBA has joined the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Yaounde 2-Soa (Cameroon) as an Assistant Professor of Economics, up to 35 years ago and he is acting now as a Full Professor of Economics in the Public Economy Department. His research interests are on applied economic topics related to the analysis of public policies, public investment budget, public finance, debt, inequality, poverty and on the measurement of various concepts such as resilience, multiple deprivation, income polarization or social polarization. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals. He has been principal investigator on CORE research grants from CODESRIA, AERC, IDRC. He is currently the Director General of the Economy and Public Investment Programming at the Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development in Cameroon.
